It’s been a week since Joe Biden officially became the 46th President of the United States and got the keys to the historic White House.
Interested in symbolic landmarks, OnlineMortgageAdvisor.co.uk analysed global search volume data from online analytics tool Ahrefs to discover the most Googled questions about the White House.
Some of the highlights from the research include:
- ‘Where is the White House?’ (134,400 online searches) and ‘when was the White House built?’ (103,200 online searches) are among the most Googled questions about the White House
- Many are curious about the inside, so Google questions such as ‘how many rooms in the White House?’ (85,200 online searches), ‘how many bathrooms in the White House?’ (14,400 online searches) and ‘how many floors in the White House?’ (4,800 online searches)
Interestingly, a lot of people are curious about who the first President to live at the White house was, as evident by the 32,400 Google searches per year for ‘who was the first President to live in the White House?’.
Despite George Washington selecting the location and architect (Irish-born James Hoban) for the White House, it was John Adams who had the privilege as the first ever American President to oversee the White House.
