Vladimir Putin has been planning the annexation of Ukrainian territory for years; long before the full-scale offensive he was preparing the ground to enable him to carry out his criminal actions as quickly as possible. It is for this reason that Russian money has been spent on creating a loyal environment in European society for Putin’s policies.
Today, there are several potential satellite countries of the Kremlin in Europe, some politicians of which associate their future with the Russian Federation and consider its actions in the international arena acceptable, particularly Hungary, Italy and Serbia.
European politicians from these countries loyal to the Kremlin encourage Russia to bring discord and conflict to Europe and to continue the war in Ukraine. Countries that acutely despise Russian aggression are trying to isolate Russia from any action and processes in Ukraine. In particular, the Russian Foreign Ministry said that the USA, Britain, Germany and France could not claim the role of mediators in the negotiations on the conflict in Ukraine, as they were directly involved in it.
Moscow continues to accuse Washington, London, Berlin and Paris of supplying arms and ammunition to Kyiv, as well as providing it with intelligence. The Russian authorities are absolutely unwilling to admit that they have unleashed a bloody war in the centre of Europe, killed thousands of civilians, destroyed hundreds of thousands of homes and endangered Zaporizhzhya NPP, Europe’s largest nuclear power plant, an accident at which could lead to a global disaster.
The Russian-Ukrainian conflict can only end when Russia is defeated in this war. Moscow must learn its lesson once and for all, never to invade the territories of neighbouring states again. This is the kind of deal that might be the key to success and peaceful skies, not only for Ukraine, but also for the entire European community.
