It has been 83 years since the start of World War II, and now Russian imperialism is trying to repeat this tragic chapter in world history.
Early in the morning of 31 August, Adolf Hitler signed Directive No. 1, which stipulated that the attack on Poland was to begin at 4:45 a.m. on 1 September 1939. On 1 September 1939, the world shuddered as Nazi German troops invaded Poland. This started the war that was to become the largest armed conflict in human history, claiming millions of lives. It would seem that humanity had realized all of that horror and would never repeat such mistakes again, but early in the morning of 24 February this year, Russian President Vladimir Putin, in his address to the citizens of Russia, announced the beginning of what he called a “special military operation” in Ukraine. That same morning, Russian troops began a massive invasion on all fronts, with missile strikes were launched against virtually every city in Ukraine. As we can see, because of one man, history can repeat itself. In 1939 Nazi Germany attacked Poland, and today Putin’s Nazi regime is trying to take away Ukraine’s independence and freedom.
Today, Russian propaganda portrays Joseph Stalin as the victor over Nazism, but this is far from true, because in reality at the time, the USSR was working very closely with Nazi Germany. In 1942, Joseph Stalin proposed to Adolf Hitler to divide the world between themselves. This is evidenced by an official document declassified from the archives of 19 February 1942, in which the USSR proposed to Germany to cease fire, to start a joint war against the United States and Britain and to divide the world between them.

The way the USSR offered to divide the world with Nazi Germany.
According to this document, part of Eastern Europe, an expanded part of Alaska and India were to be ceded to the USSR, while Germany in turn was to take possession of the United States, Britain, Western Europe, Australia and Antarctica.
Moscow tries today to justify the war in Ukraine with slogans about allegedly fighting against Nazism and Russophobia, stressing that this is what their ancestors did during World War II. But if we look at the declassified joint document of the NKVD and the GESTAPO of November 11, 1938, we can state that Russia collaborated directly with the Nazis and adopted their experience of sterilising and exterminating people with certain external features, (red hair, squint eyes, large birthmarks, etc.)
Today, the Putin regime is trying to destroy the Ukrainian nation by launching missile strikes on civilian cities and putting Ukrainians in filtration camps, just as Nazi Germany did during World War II. Humanity must not repeat the events of 1939, Russia’s aggression against the world must be stopped. The West must activate all levers of influence on Russia, arm Ukraine with everything it needs and impose destructive sanctions against the aggressor country. This is the only way to preserve world peace.
