The mobilisation of one person symbolises the mobilisation of the nation!
The brutal war treacherously unleashed by the Russian Federation against Ukraine has continued for a twelfth day. The Ukrainian army, despite lagging behind Russia in material and human support, has so far managed to inflict a tactical defeat on the invader and thwart their offensive plans. The Ukrainian people have demonstrated perhaps the greatest unity in their 31 years of independence. All rallied against one common enemy, who came to the Ukrainian land to kill, destroy and subjugate under instructions from the ruling elite in Moscow.
Ukrainian society is now divided into four target groups:
– those who fight at the front;
– those who work in the rear – including the international Ukrainian diaspora;
– refugees in different regions of Ukraine and countries of the world;
– those who are under occupation.
It is extremely important for Ukrainians not to lose the mental thread that binds them together and commands the respect and support of the world. Every Ukrainian realises that they are working to save their Motherland. The stronger this collaboration is, the faster Ukraine will recover, despite the trials and hardships that the country is now undergoing.
Wherever a person happens to be, at the front or in the rear, abroad or under occupation, they are a part of the Ukrainian people, and the soul of Ukraine is in their hearts. If they can find the strength in themselves to withstand this most difficult time for every Ukrainian, Ukraine will also survive, revive and emerge even stronger from the tragedy of this unprovoked war.
