One of the largest research organisations in Europe, the German Aerospace Centre (Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt; DLR) condemned Russia’s hostile actions towards Ukraine and announced ceasing all collaboration activities with Russian institutions.
DLR employs staff from 96 different countries and is committed to engaging in international cooperation to benefit the industry. The organisation also stands for peaceful coexistence and believes that violence is always the wrong tactic.
DLR and the German Space Agency at DLR have been working with Russian institutions on multiple research projects. However, the Executive Board decided to end all collaboration activities with Russian institutions on current and planning-stage projects.
According to the decision, there will be no new projects with Russian institutions in the future either. If necessary, DLR will seek cooperation with other national and international partners.
