Over the next two weeks, the EP shifts from Strasbourg plenary back to committee work. Confirmed high-level hearings include:

  • AFCO – Structured Dialogue with Commissioner Maroš Šefčovič, Discussion on trade, economic security, interinstitutional relations and transparency.
  • EMPL – Structured Dialogue with Commissioner Hadja Lahbib Covers equality, crisis preparedness and labour market resilience.
  • BUDG – Hearing on the EIB Group Activity Report: A politically relevant session given ongoing debates on EU financing and the next MFF.
  • Foreign Affairs Committee (AFET) – Exchange with Enlargement Commissioner Marta Kos, Discussion on the state of enlargement and pre-enlargement policy reviews.

These are the backbone of Brussels bubble policymaking and will be active throughout the next two weeks:

  • COREPER I & II – multiple sessions each week, preparing Council decisions.
  • CIVCOM (Civilian Crisis Management Committee) – ongoing work on CSDP missions.
