Following a dynamic makeover, the Tram Experience is making its grand return to the capital. A renovated, refurbished and redesigned tram that will take foodies on a voyage of discovery of Belgian cuisine, in a unique and convivial atmosphere, all around Brussels. Three renowned Belgian chefs, Martin Volkaerts, Glen Ramaekers and Dennis Broeckx, have designed the menu for this gastronomic journey through the three regions of the country. A veritable celebration of authentic Belgian flavours, along with flavours that have been given a new twist, under the watchful eye of Lionel Rigolet, the historical patron of the Tram Experience.
To reappropriate local flavours, the Tram Experience welcomes the collaboration of Martin Volkaerts (L’Amandier), Glen Ramaekers (Humphrey) and Dennis Broeckx (L’épicerie du cirque). Their instructions will be followed to the letter on board the travelling tram by chef Thibault Granville (Taste Great), who will prepare and put the finishing touches to each of these recipes to delight the palates of the food-loving passengers.
The menu will showcase well-known local dishes and products by revamping them, blending flavours from here and beyond. Apart from journeying through the capital’s emblematic sites, the Tram Experience will take passengers on a veritable culinary exploration.
A journey in complete safety
The Tram Experience will feature the Brussels Health Safety Label. The sanitary measures in force will also be respected on board the Tram Experience. Passengers must arrive wearing a mask, which they can take off once seated, so they can enjoy their experience. The on-board capacity has been reduced to allow compliance with social distancing measures (1.5 m), without compromising passenger comfort.
